alliecat8@livejournal.com BioThis journal started life as my Lost journal. That show was what led me to LJ and the amazing writers on my friends' list. It's still pretty Lost-heavy, fic-wise and icon-wise. I still love my show, but times change and we move on, so now I've diversified. I have my shows - Hawaii Five-0 for the Steve/Danny Bromance of the Century, Glee because I'm a total geek, Grey's Anatomy because I've been watching it since the beginning and even though I think it's a happening-trainwreck I can't look away, House (House/Wilson; see: Bromance), occasionally I lose my head over other stuff (*cough*American Idol, Greek*cough*)and I'm currently obsessed with the soap I've watched on and off since I was a kid, One Life To Live, because they brought back the original Todd who was my first bad-boy TV-boyfriend and he taught me how to love them.
I write. I DO! I swear I do. (I swear a lot. I'm also a slasher. If that bugs you, we should kindly part ways now.) I still have six Sawyer (Lost) fics to finish for my![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif?v=92.1)
fanfic100 and a few more for my Jack/Sawyer 30_wounds challenges, so I still consider myself to be a Lost-writer even though it's been a while. At the moment, though, my head is stuffed full of starry-eyed Steve/Danny (H50) love and I'm gearing up to dive into that fandom pool. And - fair warning - since my soap opera is going away soon *cries*, there will be Todd-fic. Even if I'm the only one who reads it. ;)
Speaking of that, I do also use this journal as a JOURNAL, where I record RL happenings and musings. I hope my friends enjoy reading those, but if they don't, I try to use LJ-cuts appropriately. I like to have these things recorded somewhere, even if it's only for myself. However, talking to myself makes me melancholy so I'm happier when my friends talk back to me.
I hesitate to write this part for fear of being misunderstood, but I am a Methodist-bordering-on-pagan, which means that I go to church where I "take what I need and leave the rest," and my only "religion" can be summed up by the Wiccan Rede, "An' it harm none, do as you will." I know there are plenty of non-judgmental Christians out there, but I'm the most non-judgmental one you'll ever meet. I will accept and love you no matter what you believe, just as long as you aren't purposely hurting anyone. But there will be mild Christian references here and there, so if that offends you, you might be more comfortable elsewhere.
I love, love, LOVE to meet new people, to try new things (and if those things scare me, to buttkick the challenge), babble about musical theater, and try to fix other people's problems. I am generous and self-absorbed, naive and whip-smart, flaky, bratty, silly and exuberant,and I apologize for none of it.

I am trying, in a hit-or-miss fashion, to write a novel or two to send to a publisher, so I occasionally take an LJ hiatus. Don't think I'm gone forever! Like a bad penny, I always turn up again. ;) All I ask for is your patience. You are in my mind and my heart even when I'm not in your LJ. ♥
